Field Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Produce, manage and maintain Project submittal logs.
  • Assist in production and processing of Project deliverables such as Safety and QA/QC plans, Test procedures, Commissioning procedures and Training procedures.
  • Organize and ensure proper document and drawing distribution to staff and field personnel
  • Ensure all documentation is properly logged and tracked in the Project document control database
  • Plan and coordinate the engineering deliverables from various parties
  • Liaise with engineering, contracts, accounting and construction to ensure effective communication of all matters relating to the Project
  • Produce correspondence such as letters, RFI’s, transmittals as required.
  • Capable of independently performing tasks assigned with instructions as to the general results expected.
  • Ensure labor tracking is coordinated and controlled between accounting and construction
  • Attend meetings as required
Job Qualifications:
  • Two (2) experience in as a Project Engineer on major Projects. Electrical bias preferred.
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering 
  • Knowledge of MS Office products
  • exceptional organizational skills
Physical/Travel/Attendance Requirements
  • Works in an office and job-site enviroments

  • Frequently sits for long periods of time

  • Frequently speaks, reads, writes and uses a computer keyboard

  • May require occasional standing, walking, lifting, stooping or bending.
